HireFinders.comTM has designed this Website to facilitate ease of use and maintain confidentiality of its users’ employment information. HireFinders.comTM (“HireFinders” or the “Website”) is governed by the following Privacy Policy concerning online data collection, usage policies and practices through services and technology provided by HireFinders, Inc.
Collection and Use of Information
Registration for, and use of, this Website is voluntary and designed to facilitate the search for employment and hiring. Upon registration, HireFinders collects job seeker's email address, anonymous username and password. In order to publically advertise a job seeker's anonymous profile and apply for positions through HireFinders, job seekers are required to create a “Profile” containing their name, address, resume and employment information. This information will remain secure and confidential. Your complete profile will only be revealed to an employer after you apply to a position; and shared only with the employer with which you applied.
In order to provide you with the broadest exposure to potential employment opportunities, only the anonymous information you place in your Profile may be shared with HireFinders-affiliated companies or with external websites. Neither HireFinders, nor its affiliates, distributes personal information for advertising purposes.
HireFinders attempts to limit access (headhunters and employment agencies are prohibited from using HireFinders) of the searchable anonymous job seeker profiles only to potential employers, hiring managers, direct hiring companies and human resource professionals (“Employers”). However, HireFinders does not and cannot guarantee that other parties (including parties disguised as employers that have circumvented HireFinders’ approval process) will not gain access to the Website. HireFinders does not provide a searchable resume database and, therefore, the job seeker controls the decision present their Profile to potential Employers. HireFinders hereby specifically disclaims any responsibility and or liability concerning any use of information job seekers provide to Employers.
Use of Information by HireFinders
HireFinders may use your information to contact you about new products or services offered by HireFinders or HireFinders-affiliated websites. Any feedback that you provide may be used for marketing purposes or to improve our services. If you apply for a position on HireFinders, you may be asked to provide information, such as answers to pre-qualifying questions or demographic information, unless prohibited by applicable law. HireFinders is not responsible for any information you choose to supply to Employers or third parties. You are encouraged to check and evaluate carefully and diligently every advertisement to which you choose to apply and submit your information.
You expressly agree that HireFinders may disclose information you supply:
(a) if such disclosure is made to comply with the law or an order issued by a court or an authorized administrative agency, respond to a subpoena, legal process, warrant, court order, or to protect the rights or property of HireFinders or its affiliated companies, prevent a crime, or protect the personal safety or rights of others;
(b) to our service providers for the purpose of providing services on our behalf, such as customer service (help), credit card processing, information technology services, and hosting services;
(c) as part of a merger or consolidation, or part of the sale of all or substantially all the stock or assets of the business to which the information pertains; and
(d) as part of a disposition in a bankruptcy proceeding in a transaction approved by the bankruptcy court.
The voluntarily display or distribution of your Profile on HireFinders or in other ways may result in the collection and use of such information by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties. HireFinders is not responsible for Profiles you voluntarily display, disclose or distribute on HireFinders or in any other way.
HireFinders may share your information with its corporate affiliates, if any.
Employers Use of Your Disclosed Profile
HireFinders does not control the use or disclosure of your Profile by Employers, or other information that you may provide directly to Employers. You acknowledge and agree that (1) HireFinders does not evaluate any employer’s privacy practices, and (2) HireFinders will not have any liability for any actions of any employer. You should know that employers to whom you may disclose your Profile may share your Profile with others.
Accessing and Controlling Your Information
HireFinders is committed to giving you control over your Profile. You may access and/or modify the information you provide by logging into to your account. Profiles will be deleted from the Website upon request, but HireFinders may retain information in its backup files for record-keeping. HireFinders cannot delete or control information you disclose to Employers.
Age Limitation
HireFinders is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age and does not intentionally gather information from anyone under 13.
Security
HireFinders is committed to protecting the security of your Profile and uses a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Profile from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. In particular, all credit card transactions on the Website are conducted using SSL encryption technology. Although HireFinders has taken steps to protect against access, interception, use, and/or disclosure of your Profile by unauthorized persons, HireFinders cannot completely eliminate security risks associated with your use of the Website. You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of HireFinders and the information you post or access through HireFinders.
User Feedback
If you provide feedback, any such comments and any email we receive becomes the property of HireFinders. HireFinders may use feedback for marketing purposes or to add to or modify our Services without paying any royalties or other compensation to you.
Changes to Privacy Statement
