Accenture Technology Consulting (ATC) falls within the SI&T organization and provides services aimed at improving the strategic intent, transforming economics and effectiveness, and the overall design, of a company's information technology capabilities and/or functions. Information technology capabilities include IT planning and management, IT processes and approaches, and IT assets that provide the operational components necessary to run applications.
Accenture is currently seeking professionals with Network Infrastructure related experience, in the areas of voice, data, and security. As a member of Accenture's Converged Networks capability, you will work with our clients on planning, designing, and implementing converged network infrastructures. From a planning perspective, you will work with clients to understand key business objectives and drivers, and align network capabilities with those requirements to develop an overall network strategy. Design involves working with clients and network hardware and service vendors to engineer the network infrastructure solution based on client guidelines and requirements. Implementation activities involve building and configuring the network infrastructure, and migrating to the new environment. The ideal candidate for this position will possess knowledge and experience in architecting, engineering, and deploying network infrastructure, and should have technical experience (hands-on implementation or large-scale engineering) in these areas. In addition, the candidate should also possess strong work planning skills and the ability to interact with client personnel at all levels, as well as understand the network implications of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities may include:
•Develop network detailed designs in the following areas: Data (LAN, WAN and Data Center) and Network Security
•Perform assessments of existing client network infrastructures and document "as-is" environments as required
•Implement network infrastructures
•Work with clients to develop high-level network strategies
•Plan, organize, and manage network design and or implementation projects
•Organize project work into client presentations outlining findings and recommendations.
•Assist in Project management activities including work planning, status reporting, client relationship management, and project financial management.
•Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients.
•Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations
•Develop internal white papers and knowledge capital on network technology topics
•Willing to travel 100% of the time.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3 years experience in network infrastructure design, engineering, implementation, and/or support.
•Minimum of 3 years experience with the design, implementation/integration and operations of enterprise and carrier-class networks and strong working knowledge of IP Internetworking, LAN Switching, WAN and network security are expected.
•Minimum of 3 years experience in project management
•Minimum of Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
•Deep technical skills in the following areas are desired:
?IP Routing Protocols
?Layer 2 protocols and technologies
?Network Management
?MPLS, DMVPN, Multicast
?Firewalls, VPN, IPSec / L2TP etc.
?Load balancing devices
•Hands-on experience with three or more Cisco platform is expected - 3x00, 4500, 6500, 7x00, 10K, 12K and CSR and the various Services modules, ASA / PIX. ACE, Nexus
•Vendor certifications are strongly preferred (e.g., CCIE, CCNP etc)

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to multi-task and have the ability to meet deadlines.
•Strong time-management and organization skills.
•Location: preferably major US city
